Kelly A. Kavanaugh, LL.B.

Kelly Kavanaugh is an experienced labour and employment lawyer, with a general labour and employment practice. Kelly works with a variety of employers in both the public and private sectors in a broad range of areas including employment standards, privacy and information management, labour relations, human rights and accessibility-related issues.
Prior to attending law school, Kelly completed her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Arts Honours (Criminology) degrees from the University of Windsor. Kelly is a licensed teacher, having been accepted to Teacher’s College at the University of Windsor, following her two previous degrees, where she then received her Bachelor of Education degree. Kelly received her LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 2002 and was called to the Bar in 2003.
Prior to joining our Firm, Kelly practiced at a Windsor law firm where she also represented clients on insurance matters.
In 2007, Kelly joined Kavanaugh, Milloy. Since that time, Kelly has acted on many complex labour and employment matters and has developed a reputation as a meticulous lawyer with unparalleled attention to detail. In addition to acting as co-counsel on some of the Firm's most challenging cases, Kelly also serves as the Firm's lead researcher, chair of the Firm's Professional Committee, and author of the Firm's newsletter. In those roles, Kelly provides research and related support to clients and other members of the Firm, and ensures that the Firm is up to date with respect to developing jurisprudence and Continuing Professional Development.
