Suzanne received her LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 1997 and was called to the Bar in 1999. In 2001, Suzanne joined the firm of Kavanaugh, Milloy.
Suzanne's practice extends to all aspects of labour and employment law, including representing clients at grievance arbitration, before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO), defending wrongful dismissal claims in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and attending before the Ontario Labour Relations Board (OLRB) on union certification applications and construction industry grievances.
Suzanne has specialized experience with discipline and governance matters pursuant to the Police Services Act and the Public Service Labour Relations Act. In addition, Suzanne regularly drafts and reviews executive and municipal employment agreements, represents clients in complex civil litigation cases, and conducts workplace harassment investigations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
